How to clean the grates and burners on a gas stove
Each kit is different and there may be special instructions for cleaning the clamps and surface. You can clean the grates and stove with soapy water and a soft cloth.
Remove cooking grates and burner covers from the cooking surface, making sure they are completely cool.
Soak cooking grates and burner covers in hot, soapy water for at least 20 minutes.
If grates or stove hoods are very dirty, make a paste of three-quarters of baking soda and one quart of water. Clean the grates with this mixture and leave it for 20 minutes.
Wipping burner with softy cloth. If you putting burner in baking soda blend, rinse them well to avoid damaging finish. Use a soft brush to remove stubborn sticky foods.
Make sure the burners and burner caps are completely dry.
Replace stove covers. Ensure that they are installed correctly according to the instructions in your user manual.
Replace cooking grates.
